a safe and grounded space where true healing can occur

Meet Sam

Sam Burnett is a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in therapeutic massage, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, and somatic bodywork. His approach brings together a strong understanding of the physical body with an awareness of the nervous system and the deeper patterns that can shape how we hold tension, pain, and stress.

Each session is responsive to the person in front of him. Rather than following a set routine, Sam listens to what you tell him, to how your body responds, and to what changes as the session unfolds. His work can range from focused therapeutic massage and deeper structural work to subtle, nervous-system-centered bodywork depending on what your body needs that day.

Sam’s path into this work began in his early twenties, when a single massage profoundly changed the way he experienced his own body. While studying exercise science and competing in weightlifting, he became increasingly interested in the connection between movement, pain, awareness, and healing. That curiosity eventually led him to massage school and has continued through more than a decade of hands-on practice and ongoing study.

Over the years, Sam’s understanding of the body has expanded beyond muscles and mechanics alone. His work has been influenced by somatic practices, mindfulness, personal growth, and mentorships that explore the relationship between body, mind, and lived experience. He brings those influences into his practice in a grounded way, creating space for clients to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and receive care that considers the whole person.

At the heart of Sam’s work is a simple belief: The body isn’t something to fight or fix. It’s something to listen to.

Sam’s Approach

Listen

Every session begins with you. Sam takes time to understand what you’re experiencing, what your body is communicating, and what you hope to get from your session.

Work With the Whole Body

Pain and tension don’t always begin where you feel them. Sam looks beyond the obvious area of discomfort, considering patterns of movement, fascia, compensation, stress, and the nervous system.

Adapt

Rather than following a predetermined routine, Sam draws from therapeutic massage, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic work, and somatic bodywork to meet your body where it is that day.
